Become a billet family for a Jets player!

Our Jets players are aged 15-20 and come from all corners of
the country, and even from around the globe! While in
Janesville, they live with host families (known as billets), who
provide these young men a true home. For eight months a year,
these billet families open their hearts and homes to young men
chasing their dream of attaining an NCAA scholarship playing

Billet families are the #1 building block of junior hockey
anywhere in the world. Being a billet family can be a very
rewarding experience, enriching the lives of both the player
and the family. The unique bonds your family will form with
your Jet player will last a lifetime. In fact, it's not
uncommon for players to stay in close contact with their

player's "biological" family, and two Jets season tickets per

“As a billet family, we love being involved with the Jets. It’s a privilege to cheer on our billet sons as they chase their dreams, grow as players and as people, and become part of our family and our community.” — Renee Engen, 6th-year billet parent.

Billet families are provided $350/month per player to offset food and other costs. Families also receive two (2) Jets season tickets per player, and are invited to participate in the annual Billet Appreciation Night each spring.
