For all Bantam and PeeWee skaters, you must complete the impact testing. This is concussion training regarding symptoms, dangers, and player safety. There are 4 times to pick from, your skater must attend one of these times. Sept 25 & 27 at 6 pm and again at 7 pm both days. The event is at Craig High School.
Skills and Drills will be Monday through Thursday the weeks of September 25th and October 2nd for RWB through Bantams. The times for the first two weeks are now on the calendars for the teams. NOTE: The Skills and Drills and Tryouts times are the same for each team within a level .
Tryouts for Squirts through Bantams will be the week of October 9th. The following file is the JYH Tryouts Procedure. It's located under Forms - Tryouts Process Flyer. The schedule is:
Team rosters will be posted on October 15th, except for the RWB level. RWB should be posted no later than October 21st.
If you missed the Back to Hockey Day on September 16th, we will have a condensed version on September 27th from 6-8pm.
If you did not attend the first meeting, you need to attend this meeting. Please come prepared to make a minimum payment of $190 per skater. All skaters must have the minimum payment made, and all fees/hours from last year must be resolved or you will NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE ICE FOR TRYOUTS. Payments can be made in cash, check (including post dated checks for future payments) or credit card. At the meeting, you will also receive your Jets tickets.
If you do not pick up your Jets tickets, it will be up to you to coordinate with Hilari Rottier to arrange a time to pick up your tickets at her convenience. You will be charged for the Jets tickets whether you pick them up or not.
During this time, you will also be sized for jerseys and pick from the remaining numbers available. Equipment distribution will also be available for intro to hockey, in house, U6, and RWB skaters. Please remember to bring a check for the $100 deposit.
We will also have game socks for sale. In addition, you will sign off on a number of policies, including the volunteer hour expectation.
Volunteer hours have been posted via DIBS. The Jets and Bluebirds games are available for sign up, as well as open skates, and other club functions. If you have any questions, please contact Kathi Chady .
If you have completed forms for the 5,000 puck challenge, either bring them on the 27th or send them to Aaron Lauzon along with the shirt size for your skater.
