Hockey season is about to kickoff - be sure your skater is ready!

It's October already, Skills and Drills has 2 days left, and tryouts are around the corner!  Just a quick reminder about whats upcoming and items that are due soon.

Spread the Word

Help us spread the word about our Try Hockey for Free events. (Click here to see events on FaceBook) There is a Girls Try Hockey for Free event October 8 (this Saturday Sunday), and an event November 4th for any/all skaters who'd like to try hockey.  Help us grow the sport and love of hockey.

Skills and Drills/Tryouts

Last 2 nights for skills and drills and Tryouts are multiple days and begin October 9 for Squirts - Bantams and begin October 16 for RWB/Mites.  Please see the schedules linked below for exact dates and times.

We still have 19 skaters RWB level and above who have not paid the initial deposit of $190. Please drop the initial or full payment in drop box at rink no later than Friday so we can process and ensure you are eligible for tryouts.  Any questions contact

Scholarship/Fee Reduction - Due Oct 30

If you intend to apply for a scholarship/fee reduction,  please fill out the form (Click here for form)  and submit to  The deadline for submissions is October 30 with scholarship awards being announced November 15.

5000 Pucks - Last Call

If your child participated in the 5000 Pucks challenge, you must submit your tracking sheet ASAP to Aaron Lauzon. (Click here for more info on the 5000 Puck Challenge)

Volunteer Hours

Get a jump start on your mandatory volunteer hours. As a reminder, all hours must be complete or scheduled prior to playdowns.  There are plenty of opportunities currently available including: Open skate, Jets and Bluebirds games, and Try Hockey For Free.  (Click here to view on DIBs)

If you have not received your Jets tickets yet, you will need to coordinate with to receive your tickets.


If your skater is Squirt through Bantam and you have NOT been assigned a number or fitted for a jersey, please contact Chris at
