JYH Summer Coaching Clinic
In order to ensure the proper development of coaches within JYH, the HDC is offering a summer coaching clinic. The clinic is strongly recommended in order to be considered for a coaching role for the 2023-24 hockey season. This clinic is one night only but will be offered on two different dates in order to accommodate individual schedules. The first night of the coaching clinic is Tuesday September 5th, 2023 from 7-9pm. The second night is Wednesday September 6th, 2023 from 7-9pm. All nights will be held at the Janesville Country Club. You only need to attend one night.
The format for the clinic will consist of 30 minutes of introductions, group discussion and announcements. There will also be 6 breakout groups lasting about 15 minutes each. Each breakout group will be geared to specific coaching topics and will be age specific. Each presenter was selected due to their knowledge and experience within the topics they will be discussing.
