The Janesville Hockey Club, Inc. was established in 1969 as a non-profit educational organization with the objectives of providing guidance, direction and leadership to encourage and assist recreational and competitive youth hockey programs, for all youth residing in the Janesville area. The objective of the organization is to build an infrastructure that will consistently develop teams that will produce to the best of their abilities and continue to attract athletes from the area to participate. Our mission is a combination of developing top athletes to push them to their potential, but also providing a recreational option for less competitive players. The hockey programming is primarily focused on skaters ages 4 through 14, and we offer the following programs: introduction to hockey; in-house hockey; red, white & blue or mite hockey; squirt hockey; peewee hockey; bantam hockey; and girls hockey in cooperation with Beloit. We offer programs in the winter (September – March), spring (March – May) and summer (June – August). The Janesville Youth Hockey program has prided itself on being an affordable program. As a not-for-profit entity, the goal is to operate a successful program at a reasonable cost. Our goal is to have reasonable fees, and then make the most of these fees by maximizing ice time and instruction for the players. Our club has worked hard to keep hockey affordable for all families.
