HDC Purpose and Mission
The Janesville Youth Hockey (JYH) Hockey Development Committee (HDC) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of player development, including on-ice and off-ice training, coach development, and parent education. The committee's primary objective is to establish a sustainable development model that consistently prepares players and teams to reach their highest potential.
The HDC is committed to fostering an environment that supports athletes of all skill levels. Our mission is to provide a pathway for highly competitive players to maximize their potential while also offering a positive, development-focused recreational experience for those who wish to enjoy the game in a less competitive setting.
Through a culture centered on education, accountability, and continuous improvement, the HDC strives to equip coaches, players, and parents with the knowledge and resources necessary to promote long-term success both on and off the ice.
