Girls Rock the Rink

We're excited to host another session of Girls Rock the Rink every Thursday in August (August 7, 14, 21, and 28)!

• 6:15 PM, Girls Intro to Hockey: Perfect for those who are new to the sport and open to non-JYH members! Learn the basics of skating, stick handling, and shooting in a fun and supportive environment. This is a FREE event for all participants! • 7:30 PM - Intermediate Skills Session - For those looking to sharpen their existing skills, this session focuses on refining techniques such as passing, puck control, and game strategy. This session is geared toward players 8U and up with at least one year of experience and is open to non-JYH members. The Intermediate Skills Session will be another FREE opportunity. Guest Coaches:

• Hannah Chady – Sophomore Defenseman, played for Northland College Women's Team 2024-2025. Playing for Beloit College Women's Team in there first season for 2025-2026. Played for Rock County Fury her Freshman year. Played Badger City for her Sophomore through Senioryear. From Janesville, WI.
• Jill Traver – Sophomore Goaltender, currently playing at Marian University. Played Badger Cityher Freshman and Sophomore year in High School. Played for Rock County Fury her Juniorand Senior year. From Beloit, WI.
• Anika Einbeck – Played for MSOE Women's Hockey team as a Senior for their inauguralseason in 2024-2025. Assistant Captain her Senior year. Played for Rock County Fury all 4years of High School. Played for Team Wisconsin during High School. From Monroe, WI
• Kamdyn Davis – Junior defenseman for Division I Minnesota Duluth Women's Hockey. Former Madison Capitals and Chicago Mission player. Represented Team USA in the 2022 U18 Series vs. Canada and attended multiple USA Hockey development camps, including the National Festival and U18 Select Camps. Illinois State Champion (2022, 2023) and Wisconsin State Champion (2020, 2021).
• Cara Lemirande - Played division 3 hockey for the Stevens Point Pointers from 2015-2018. Cara was a multi first team all-conference player in the WIAC. Cara played her youth and high school hockey with the Madison Capitols AAA organization. Cara also worked as a power skating instructor for Lead Hockey out of Verona.
• Beloit College Women's Hockey Team – This will be the first season Beloit College will have a Women's Hockey Team, and we're excited to have them as guest coaches!
