About Janesville Youth Hockey
Janesville Youth Hockey is a nonprofit, Division II youth hockey organization based in Janesville, Wisconsin. Led by a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors, our mission is to provide a positive, competitive environment where boys and girls can develop strong skating and hockey fundamentals while building a lifelong love for the game.
We believe that learning the fundamentals, competing with integrity, and having fun are the foundation of every player's success. Our program emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, respect, and personal growth both on and off the ice.
Each season, Janesville Youth Hockey serves more than 190 travel players, along with 60–70 skaters in our 8U program. We also offer our Introduction to Hockey program, which welcomes 50–60 new players each session, providing a fun and supportive environment for children to learn the basics of skating and hockey.
All of our programs are based out of the Woodman's Sports & Convention Center, located at 2510 Milton Avenue in Janesville, Wisconsin.
Families interested in joining Janesville Youth Hockey are encouraged to attend one of our Try Hockey for Free events to experience the game firsthand. Our season begins with Skills & Drills during the final two weeks of September, followed by team evaluations and tryouts in early October. League play continues through March, providing players with a full season of skill development, competition, and memorable experiences.
